HDMI Switch

Need a bit of advice for a friend who has MPEG2 tv. He wants to watch Saorview in HD but already has Freesat HD taking up the single HDMI slot on the TV.

New TV is not an option so I figure that a Saorview/MPEG4 box and a HDMI switch is the only solution.

Have googled this and see that there are manual HDMI switches and also models that come with a remote. It seems that the ones that come with a remote need to be powered. Have I got this right ? Are there any other features to watch out for ?

Can anyone provide a link to a switch that they find works well?

(I see that there are models on ebay for a little as a tenner incl postage. Are these any good?)

    Thanks
