Yank Blonde Moment

No one else has to laugh at me..I do that enough as it is...recent blunder...renewing my American passport via mail. Thought I had all the proper information and photo's, but received a reply back that the photo's were not the right size. Went a second time to the chemist and had them re-done...same size again. At that point I mentioned that the American Embassy requested a certain size and the chemist politely said that they are a different size from the Irish ones.

Wasted time for my own blonde moment...grrr.

You should give up your American citizenship as the Irish one is a lot easier to renew

martic...applying for Irish citizenship this year, no need to give up American one though :)

    That wasn't embarrising.

Embarrising is posting this thread in AH and realising no one gives a flying f*ck about your mundane life.

I mean if that what you describe as interesting you need to go get laid girl.

You wasted time at the chemists- I wasted time here.

    Die thread. Die.

I thought everyone had a little Irish in them.

@Mr. Incognito, it was an American blonde moment, boring/mundane yes, but still a moment.

    \

Wow. While I whole heartedly agree with your sentiment, I find it a little excessive.

She's American AND she's blonde...this can only go one way..

on the plus side it sounds like you qualify to be american though

She sent photos off that were the size of the ones meant for an Irish passport. Then when she went to the chemist to get more, she got the wrong size again and almost sent those ones off too, only for the fact that before she left, she mentioned that it was an American Passport and so then the girl there copped what the problem was and it all became clear :p:pac:

Do you not get it?? The girl in the chemist was a brunette.
