FIRST FEW SHOTS

Just fire my first few shots from new cz 308 today, will fine tune it in a week or 2, need to give it a clean now and fire a new group, told to clean barrel after every 5 rounds for first 50 rounds to break in barrel, iam happy enough at the moment with this,try tighten this up next time.

2,3 and 4 probably fit under a 50 cent piece. Unless your dead set on shooting deer in the eyes I think you've got it nailed at 180 yards

if it stays at that it will do me, will fire 2 0r 3 shots in a week or 2 and leave it at that, it's not a target rifle,if it fires around that circle at 200 it will do me.

thanks clivej, have a few section 42's this year so should be ok, have the 243 and 308 will zero the 243 at 100yards and 308 at 200 as some of it should be 50 to 60 yard job in the mornings.

I was out in one of my section 42's today. No deer to be seen but, only tracks.

Well wear with the .308

thanks tack, had a look myself the other day seen 4 deer on 1 , but they will move in strong come july, they love his barley.
