RTE 1 + 1 & RTEJR not tuning on Pinnacle Pinnacle 7010i X

    Folks,

    Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue:

    Using my Pinnacle 7010i X with Mediaportal and when I rescan for the new DTT channels I can't see them. Even when I delete the channels and rescan all I get is the 6 I had... but no RTE1 +1 or RTEJR?

    Anyone else have this issue?

    You can only scan them in when they are broadcasting, you should be able to scan RTE1 +1 tonight at 7pm and RTEJR on Monday when it starts broadcasting again.

    I have a similar problem with a TNThd box I am using, it scans all 8 tv chanels but only displays the active one in the list or epg and needs to be retuned after 7.

    Thanks for that... Makes sense. Just looking at TSReader and there is no video streams against either of them so they are being ignored.

    I would have thought though that as they have PID's broadcast all the time the card would have picked them up.

    People have a similar issue with CBBC+Cbeebies vs BBC3+BBC4 with non-Freesat generic receivers or PC cards.

    One reason people should only get Freesat HD box, not Generic box for UK Satellite TV.
