This is a single frame captured from a very short video I took of myself splashing about in the puddles last weekend. Click it to launch the video
    5766406366_8fe31aa9bb_b.jpg

I tweaked the colours and speed in After Effects that I've spent the last 2 weeks trying to figure out!

It gets a bit muddled / distorted at the point where it slows down. Not too sure why - has anybody any idea why? It was capture at 1,280 x 720 (50 fps) and i've seen similar results online with no distortion when 'timewarped'

Also.....after I uploaded it, i then realised that I left the sound on. I thought it was silent (the way I wanted it for now), but it turns out the laptop was on mute when I was tweaking it :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:pac::pac: so ignore the rubbish noise!

/ Maybe this is the wrong place to post. Has boards got an active video forum for this kind of thing? I looked a few weeks ago and there didn't seem to be much happening

How do. Yeah the slow mo stuff is a trick alright. Some people use time remapping in images rather than video. Also twixtor is a hell of a plugin for this stuff. You can get stuff right down to around 1000fps with the right skills. Best bet is to get over to vimeo and check out tutorials I cant be arsed linking right now, I'm on an iPad and that's a world of annoying to do! :D

What an ipad is useless as basic web browsing?!

I've been meaning to try this with my 7D but I've done hardly any video with it.

BTW if you change the video format to NTSC instead of PAL you can shoot at 60p.
Shouldn't be an issue if you're only creating video for online.
