Employment Law Employee Rights Query (TUPE)

Hi everyone, I hope someone can give me some direction on this. The company I work for recently merged with others to form a new organisation. All staff of the company received a letter from the CEO assuring us that our terms and conditions would not be affected. Under the old company regime I was given travel and subsistence when using my own car to carry out duties relating to my employment. This was custom and practice for the last 5 years. In the new company we are been recently told that we must use company pool vehicles. However some senior staff continue using their own vehicles and claim expenses. Do I have any recourse for loss of earnings or do I have a right to continue to use my own vehicle. I have not received any offical notice in writing of the change in practice. I would be grateful for any thoughts on this.

    Thanks.
