At last a job offer

Well i was told i was losing my job on Valentines day this year. I left on March 14th and have been looking since.

Since then i have lost count the number of jobs i have applied for. The stress and worry is just not good. Wife and 2 kids, mortgage, car bills etc... really been in unhappy place.

At last today i was made a very good job offer for a very good well established firm in EastPoint. I am also in consideration for 3 other roles to which i will know about on Monday.

Truly a famine to feast situation. Still bloody happy to have one solid offer and will be back at work soon.

To all those still looking, do not give up and do not lose heart. Its tough but i truly believe in being prepared for each interview, When ask back for a 2nd round i tailored a 30-60-90 day plan to the role and this i believe made the difference to the 4 jobs i have got the furthest in.

Keep going and good luck to all looking. time to enjoy my last week off work, :D

Get the CV's out now........ I started the same day i was told and it still took a while. I got a lot of notice when i used innovatecv.com for my Cv template. worth the extra effort... that CV got my foot in the door to a fair few places.

This is great advice people. I firmly believe this approach puts you head and shoulders above the competition.

(I do "Week 1", "Month 1", "Year 1" usually, but the idea is the same.)

    Congratulations OP.

Although I don't really understand what the above is. Can you explain?

    Thanks!

I surmise that he gave them an idea of what he'd like to do in the first 3 months. A great idea for the second interview when you know more what the company and role are about. It doesn't matter that you're making stabs in the dark in many instances, it shows you're proactive and have skin in the game.
