    Is it just me or , are half marathons difficult to come by? wanna do one in the next few weeks but cant seem to find any.

    Searched runireland but only found one , maby 2 tops late in the summer, and places like wexford which is not at all convenient for me.

    Do ye know of any half ones comin up , preferably within an hours drive drive of galway?

    Mourne = Dublin
    Lisburn = Belfast
    Enniscorthy = wexford

    All over a three hour drive one way from me.... anything closer ?

    Was going to suggest The Cliffs of Moher Half marathon, cause I thought it would be close, but I see on their website it's cancelled :confused: Anyone know what happened there?

    Failing that, Portlaoise is Aug Bank holiday monday. I'm entered, but not sure whether it'll be good or bad cause it's 1st year.

    The Dublin Mountain Plod run by IMRA in the middle of July is a great motherf***ing half marathon... Prob the best you could do. Although the Cooley legends half was awesome too..

    Didn't get enough entries to make it worth their while apparently. They received 100 which I would have thought was a nice number but maybe they were relying on some economies of scale or were expecting to make a tidy profit to justify the organisation.
