Taking up Golf - 18 years old

Hi,

I was wondering could anyone point me in the direction of a golf club in which to become a member around Templeogue or within about half an hour.

I am also wondering could anyone point me in the direction of a good set of clubs (all clubs from driver to irons and a putter) for under €350, used or new. Willing to go a bit over.

Finally, do most clubs have golf lessons and tournaments that you can participate in and how much would membership to a club cost?

Some Irons over on adverts if u are starting out i think u should go for second hand rather than new that way if u decide to sell u won't lose much cash there are plenty of putters and Bags on there as well. I'd go with just the 3 wood for the time being and keep a eye out for Taylormade Burner or a Ping G5 or G10 which u will pick up fairly cheap. You could also try one of the golf shops they always have second hand clubs make them a offer never pay full price.
A putter is a personal thing so swing as many as you can and see what seems nice.
