    Hey, my first time using this. I have being living with my male friend for 2 yrs in Cork, then I moved with him down to Limerick. He had college work placement and I needed a break from Cork. I applied for rent allowance and when I did the woman was asking why I was living with this guy for so long. I told her he was my friend from college, my gay friend at that, but she didnt believe me. She came out the nxt day n had a look. I had no duvet on my bed coz I couldnt afford a proper one due to my rent, bills, loan, etc and she seemed really pigheaded. She then came out with another guy to check my place and I had duvet, a secondhand one I picked up. I was practically in tears and felt ashamed. And yet I still think they dont believe me as they said they'd be in touch. What am I guna do? Please someone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(

    Not really sure but it sounds like they're being rather discriminatory there, doesn't really sound like acceptable behaviour to me.
