    Hi lads,

I've been on the net for ages checking all sorts of sites but seems like the original one is the best. The rebound on my Honda hornet 250 rear shock has gone and sh*t its self so she bounces up and down when i go over a ramp. I've thought about getting a pre-owned shock but their all in horrible condition or there's none at all!

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on where i can find a New Hagon shock for less then 300e because that seems to be the best price i can get it for. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

Can you not just get your shock serviced?

yeah i know you can get it serviced but i thought if the rebound goes there's not much you can do for it.... would i be better off doing that?

    how much roughly is that?

Yeah i know everythings the same with the old hornet 600 bar the engine nd whatnot but frame and bits wise.. so i've been looking for a second hand 600 or 250 shock but no joy so far. :(

You may as well bite the bullet and buy a new Hagon or Wilbers.
by the time you strip yours off and send it in for new seals and regassing it's going to be at least half the cost of a new one anyway.
You can get Wilbers for 350 off ebay Linky

yea i suppose your right. Problem is if im getting a new one i'll have to buy a hugger because i won't want the sh*tty irish weather wrecking the new shock so more money ha. But i suppose thats what its gona take

    Cheers for the advice!

Get a hugger anyway, great at keeping the bike clean(er)

Yeah and it really fills out the naked look of street bikes. Only problem is their pretty expensive but i'll probably get a pyramid plastics one for it.
