    Its a 99 civic, passed on all apart the Lambda was 1.05 it should be between 0.97-1.03

    Engine Temp---80 degrees

    Low Idle (750rpm) C0 = 0.07 (0.50 allowed) PASS
    HC = 33ppm (0ppm allowed) N/A

    Lambda 1.05 (0.97-1.03 allowed)

    High Idle (2940rpm) C0 = 0.16 (0.30 allowed) PASS
    HC = 13ppm (200ppm allowed) PASS

    Having read threads on here it seems that my exhaust must be leaking, and the NCT man said the same.

    1. Any tips on finding the holes/cracks, should I let the car go cold, block the exhaust and wait to see if it conks out? whats the best way to find smoke leaving the exhaust? a torch?

    2. What exhaust putty/fillers is the best for DIY?

    3. When its tested again do they test for C0 and HC as well as lambda, so could I fail it on other areas of the emmisions test or will they just test me for lambda?
