supervalu meal deals

    just come back from my local supervalu in balbriggan and they have a great meal deal on at the moment, for 7.99 you get a starter(open prawn sandwich, vol au vents, or chicken ceaser salad, soup,) main meal,(roast beef dinner, shepherds pie, breaded chicken , others) and a dessert(trifle, baileys cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, etc) all for 7.99, great value, my daughters had the shepherds pie and loved it !!!! well worth it, they are in a cabinet beside where the sandwiches and rolls are made , or wherever the ready made meals are kept :)

    not sure how long as it wasnt advertised i only found it by accident and all the meals had a yellow sticker on them to indicate it was part of the 7.99 deal, its not on any of the flyers and the dates on some of the meals were 30th and 31st may , i had the chicken ceaser salad and as it was a starter i bulked it up by adding pasta and had it for my dinner and it was delish !!:), i will check in the morning and let you know , when i went through my receipt atthe end of my shop the deals came of then

    the offer is finished tomorrow, just make sure you get the meals and starters with the yellow stickers on to avail of the 7.99 offer

    Went down on Friday and picked up a leaflet. They are having 20th anniversary celebrations.
    10kg of roosters 3.49, lettuce 49c, cucumbers 49c, strawberries 3 x 227g €5 scallions 49c mix and match salad bags and assorted bag veg 2 for 3.

    1kg ham fillet chicken fillets 454g whole chicken 1600g, pork chops 500g, fish of the week any 3 for €10.

    €10 8 pack of Heineken 500ml cans. 6 x 330ml bottles Heineken 2 for €10
    Shaws ham and low low cheese 1euro 6 pack of lucozade 2.50
    Competitions and family fun days, trolley dashes.

    Seems to be loads of bargains.
