    I see there is a Scratch Cup in Castle Barna on saturday.... Any opinions about it being worth a visit?? Or not??

    Its well worth the visit, some very nice holes on it. I played it couple of months back and it was in great nick, bit of rain lately will have only made it better i'd say. Last 4 holes are very good 3 longish par 4s and a par 5. I'd imagine the price isn't bad for the scratch cup either.

    Lovely course. 2nd green has undergone some work lately so I don't think it's in play but I wouldn't let that put me off. Would love to play the minor scratch but this weekend is out for me
