Trying to clear a 74' series at the moment, have been to the NCT centre three times, each time i have been they have been looking for different paperwork; import document, original V5, receipt from previous owner, latest is i now have to get the landy checked by revenue because its so old they haven't got a record of it, they will make the VRT valuation and then i have to go back to the NCT centre to pay them! I thought the process was modernised to make this easier, do mind but, since my first appointment in April when it was 50 notes. NOW, with a new appointment a month and a half later its 200 plus a fine because I haven't cleared it within 30 days of importing it.

The DOE is a equivalent NCT, for commercial vehicle. I am not quite if the landy if a commercial vehicle.
I would say ring one the irish vintage society representative, I don't see the, asking for DOE before getting it insure.
