FAG vs Rite Of Passage & the return of Zoffany. Looks to be exciting card

Saint By Day in the second last could well be a big bet for me.

I'll be heading up the road to see the horseys on Sunday. I've got one of those cards so I've got no excuses not to. Will post my modest selections here tomorrow

    Tough card!

    Zoffany @ 7/4

    Nebula Storm ew @ 10/1

    Mudallah ew @ 11/1

Strandfield Lady or Force of Habit @ 8/1

I might chuck a few cents on them as I'm going to be up there but other than that I wouldn't be backing any of them - I haven't a fecking clue about these races.

Theres something to be said for not losing money.

Bewitched was excellent yesterday. I never went up because I had to work all day.

Fame And Glory will most likely stay the Gold Cup trip but I'd still rather have Rite Of Passage at the prices. The only thing stopping me is the thought that Fame And Glory is surely better than Age Of Aquarius who gave ROP a good race last year. Probably a race to steer clear of in terms of betting.

I very much doubt Fame and Glory will get the Gold Cup trip.

Did he look to be crying out for another 6 furlongs yesterday

    You could be right Richie.

He's a 120+ rated animal and has lots of stamina in his pedigree - more than Rite of Passage. I know its best to trust your eyes in such circumstances but theres plenty of reasons to think that Fame And Glory is just a better animal than Rite Of Passage. We'll have to see.

He looked to be plugging on at his regular slow pace if you ask me - I think he'll get it but what is "get it"? If it turns into the race of last year it'll come down to which is the strongest in a battle and while Montjeu was a real battler, the term was coined for Giants Causeway.

Fame and Glory's pedigree oozes stamina, I think he will get the 20f.

had a great day, one thing i noticed after the last race out at the parade ring was that people were around joseph o brien like flies around u know. i got a photo with him, he is a really nice chap and speaks exactly like his father.
he has a big future ahead of him
