    Hi guys,

I have a car that's been stationary for the past 8 months or so - laziness on my part for not doing anything about it but there were a few issues with it (brakes seemed to be grinding a good bit etc) and I didn't need it any more anyway. But now it's totally dead and I can't even lock it any more!

So what can I do with this, what's the best option? I want rid of it but what's the best way of going about this?

    Total novice here obv.

No NCT left, nope. Part of the reason why I didn't really do much about it.

I'll have a look at donedeal, cheers.

battery obviously dead, build up of rust on the brake discs, if you start it and drive it a bit using the brakes hard a few times they should clean off

But the discs were scrapping for a good while before I stopped using it - I did what you posted above but it actually got worse :/ Weird thing is that I changed the pads only a few months before it started to make that noise.

Btw, I don't even know where to start with a price on donedeal, just leave it at €0 and ask for offers?

Make, model, mileage, age etc and we might be able to suggest a ballpark figure ;)
