We are in the process of agreeing a lease on a premises to move a branch of our business into. We had agreed T & Cs for the lease last year and teh contracts are now ready for signing. However the owner/agent of the premises cannot sign until the deal has been agreed through Nama & a bank that acts as Namas agent. This has been going on since the start of the year. Has anyone else tried renting a Nama property and had any issues or delays?

Have you tried approaching the bank/NAMA yourself to see if it can be expedited?
Maybe the owner/agent has a reason to drag their heels as they may not be benefitting directly.

Nama and the bank are part of the problem because theyve lost paperwork and keep looking for more stuff. we wrote to the head guy in Nama so hoping he,ll tell them to pull the finger out.
