Pretty much as it says in the title, I'm looking for any suggestions re. articles/books on the banking crisis in the 1750s. I've looked at NHI and McBride's 'Ireland in the Eighteenth-Century', but they're a little more general than I'm looking for.

    Would appreciate any/all suggestions.

    Thanks.

Have a look at the books by Professor Louis Cullen (easily found if you google it). Haven't read them myself but am aware that he has covered Irish economic history during that period.
