Triton T90xr shower cutting out

    Hi All,
I've recently installed a T90xr shower (8.5KW) in an en-suite bathroom. It replaced a T90i and I was hoping it would be a simple like-for-like swap. Problem is that it cuts out after a few minutes of heating. It runs fine on cold, so I'm thinking that its not getting enough power. Any Ideas anyone?

Currently there is 6 square cable supplying this shower (i'm really hoping this does not have to be changed to 10mm) Also the manual states that the main switch in the house should be 80 - 100A, there is only 63A.!

    I'd appreciate any advice,
    Cheers,
    Valzer.

If the shower cuts out Does the water Stop all together?
If this is whats happening Check the power rating on the RCD or circuit breakr on the board it must be 40 AMPS. If you did not change this you will probably find it is 32amp which was OK for the older shower but not enough for the newer one.
If this is not the problem, check the pullchord switch when the shower cuts out again.See if it feel hot, it might be a bad connection.
    cheers
    Steve
