Anyone use this place for lane swims in morning (pre 9am), or just after work (circa 5.30pm). Is it busy, well managed etc?

Also wondering if the place is clean and has a decent feel to it.

    Thanks

Hey, I've used it a few time for lane swimming but not at the times you mentioned. In general I found it to be very clean and a really nice place to go to. It was weekday mid morning when I went, they seemed very organised so I imagine it woull be good at busier times also.

What type of lane swimming? Just up and down a few times or serious sets? If its serious sets I personally would leave it, pool very warm, pool lane dividers are very poor...

If its up and down a few times then its ok, bright, clean place.

Well I havent done lanes for years and years, so thinking about getting back. So initially it'd be fairly relaxed while I learn how to do it again! After that I could maybe look elsewhere. Was even thinking about doing the lessons (intermediate or advanced) to get a bit of good technique going. I'm in the Terenure / Dundrum area each day so if you had any other suggestions it'd be great. Thanks

It was just up and down for me, nothing serious!!

+1 for Glenalbyn too, a good bit older but a good spot.

Swan has a pretty anoying time table though, there is only about 2 hours a day during the week where the lanes are open, Then on Saturday 1 hour and Sunday none!

Because of this it tends to be very busy during them times and then the odd day there is 3 lanes taken up by swimming lessons, But these don't appear on the timetable,
