Has anyone come across anywhere that does this? I'm based Cork and Dublin but wouldn't mind sending it to someone as long as it was reliable. i have a white back cover so ideally it's just the front I'd want done.

    All help appreciated,
    Thanks

I cannot imagine any reasonably priced aftermarket technique that would not look ****e.

They're usually OEM parts that are used. I've seen white, blue, red and pink full conversions done and they all look superb.

    Anyway, here's a website: http://www.irepair.ie/iPhone_4_repair_Dublin_Ireland/iphone_4_White

It's cheap enough for the full conversion and the guy who owns the website has fantastic communication so it wouldn't be a problem if anything went wrong.

The price is post returned so it seems like a really good deal tbf. If you ask him he'll probably lower the cost too if you already have the back. :)

It will void your warranty. So I'd be inclined to wait until your warranty is out.

You can't buy OEM conversion kits. So any conversion you do will be using Chinese knock off parts. This comes into its own when you consider the difference in glass quality, resins and the UV resistance (White can yellow very quickly)

My advice is if you really want a white iPhone 4 is buy one.

I know of one guy who had his conversion done quite a while ago and there's no evidence of any discolouration.

Apple took near on 8 months to get the mix right, hence a reason for the original delay. I sincerely doubt the boys in China had it fixed first. The white Macbook had the same problem. Depends on exposure etc obviously.
