...to the point where you just dont care for talking, complaining (this being the exception ), thinking? Some would call that depression and apparently there are a whole host of things one can do to live a normal life in an insane environment. A change in environment? Accept defeat and realize that living in a over demanding, stress filled society where one has to harden themselves to get by does not have to be par for the road?

I look in wonder at how people just seem to plough along, accept the cards they've been dealt with. But I suppose they have the advantage cuz they probably have a mortgage and kids to pay for. And they arrive home and turn off their brain to the Tv or talk to the same heads they've been talking to for the past 10 years. I could be wrong.
I dont even know whats worth saying to be honest. I hear people talking and I cant even pretend to give a crap. Most of it seems to try and cover up the cracks of how boring their existance is. A lot of details, a stern belief in their own exertions despite the lack of fruits for their endevours. So much running and buying and ordering and obeying, its pretty cliché and its all been said but what we get in the end is no end it seems.

There seems to be no direction. No real understanding. Just varying shades of friction. The continuos desensitization and the getting used to the idea of loss. To numb ourselves in order to distance ourselves. The knee jerk reaction of using humour as a plaster over what seem to be huge cracks. The shunning and ridiculing of these sentiments to maintain sanity. Yet we expend so much for who or what? What are we protecting if it only maintains mediocrity? We seek to map out our life and if it fails we are in crisis. The only solution seems to be war. We make the divides, we create the prejudice, we believe what we are told, we make the weapons, we drop bombs and kill people. If not we watch or run. I sometimes cant believe I was born into this myriad of struggle and chaos.

I repeat: Lighten up, ya big moany bollocks.

But seriously, if you're that down and finding life a complete slog, you might want to talk to someone, professional or a family member.

    Sanity = distraction.

If you sat alone in a darkened room and thought too much about human being's predicament, you'd end up on the funny farm.

We are in the middle of nowhere. This planet is surrounded by light years of space.

We're basically lost and all we know is that we come out of each other like Gizmo in Gremlins and one day we will cease to live.

Life is madness, madness is life.

    Nite now.

Well, good morning! Wakey wakey after that long sleep!

    Sucks, doesn't it?
Anyway, loads of stuff to be done, keep out of the Conspiracy Theory forum, by the way, until you get used to this way of things.

I hear from all sides that we are supposed to help each other out.
Maybe so. But just choose your own path, and way, time and method of doing so.
Don't listen to other people. Find your own path.

Yes, it is a myriad of struggle and chaos, but its not about winning or overcoming the next person in a challenge, its your own path, your only time to experience what life is, go at your own pace, there are no losers or winners, just those who survive and learn.

Feck trying to be better, trying to be good, just do what you want and care for those who are around you, be they family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquaintances etc.

Do what you want, and if what you want harms another, really consider is that what you want to do or be? No one can give you a moral or ethical code, that is yours to find out.

You will never know how much somebody else needs you until it is too late, never let that happen.

Hang out with people who may be difficult, socially. If you are already friends with them, you may not realiase how much they need your presence and honesty in speaking your mind about how shít and difficult and confusing the world is.

Not really a great solution there bud for the rest of us....."I'm feeling mopey, I wish there was a war, that'll sort it".

Everyone has got their own trials and tribulations and making the best of what you got isn't just ploughing along as whilst people may moan and complain (one of my favourite passtimes) it's what you do about it, that's the kicker.

Those great songsters The New Radicals (ahhh, where are they now?) said it best when they sung "You only get what you give". If you maintain an attitude of saying I want to stay in doors, not talk to anyone, not care whats going on in the world, then unfortunatley there ain't no magic fairy to wave a wand, grant you three wishes, ride you and rob your wallet (wait thats a different thread). PS that's not like depression, it is depression, you might want to chat to a GP.

If you said to yourself today I'm going to do something I've never done before (don't heed these mad AH'ers - KEEP IT LEGAL) then there's a goal, something to look forward to. Life is all about looking forward to somthing in the future be it an event, a goal, a meeting etc. Those other great songsters Monty Python too were right when they sung "Life's a piece of shít, when you look at it.." but still seeing as no one makes it out alive, it's what you do while you're toddling round this big spinng rock that counts.

As I was reading that (especially the third paragraph), I couldn't help but imagine it being said by one of the Film Actors Guild (FAGS) in Team America.

"Last year I went to Iraq. Before Team America showed up, it was a happy place. They had flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles."

"Let me explain to you how this works: you see, the corporations finance Team America, and then Team America goes out... and the corporations sit there in their... in their corporation buildings, and... and, and see, they're all corporation-y... and they make money."

The OP may have a point here though:
The knee jerk reaction of using humour as a plaster over what seem to be huge cracks.

    But then Team America retorts:
"Get out of the street you fucking bum! You gave up on life didn't you!"

Watch Team America, much better than drugs.

You can only pull yourself out of it OP. Identify exactly what it is that's getting you down and do something about it, only problem is that this can be very hard when you are in this sort of mood but positive action is needed.

Take some time out for yourself

    - Go for a walk in the country/along the coast.
    - Find a coffee shop with outdoor seating and watch the world go by.
    - Cook yourself a nice meal.
    - Make love to a beautiful woman.
    - Read a good book.
    - Try Meditation.

i.e. take time to switch off the stress, ignore the insane world we live in & find peace within yourself. You don't need to understand the world, only yourself.

I think what this poster is trying to say is; Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get f****d by dicks. But dicks also f**k assholes: assholes that just want to shìt on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can f**k an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they f**k too much or f**k when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shìt that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us f**k this asshole, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shìt!

We're neither, we're basicially the "f**k", the pussies and dicks that we encounter throughout our lives have an impact on how much f**k we give...if we encounter dicks then we have a choice between not giving a f**k or giving a f**k, most of the time we're better off not giving a f**k because sometimes when you give a f**k you end up wasting time on an asshole. Pussies are different though, sometimes you can think you're doing the right thing by f**king them, but in the end you're the one that ends up getting f**ked.

If we all hold hands and purge ourselves of negativity and begrudgery, we can think ourselves out of this recession.

not too sound blunt OP or insensitive...... but are you in a wheelchair OP, do you have a life threatening illness, is a family member suffering a terminal illness, injury which there is no mistake?

If you don't then consider yourself lucky and alive!

When you think about the world and aren't we all insignificant really? The answer is yes

Heres a saying i always think of when the world annoys me

"Life is inherently worthless, thats why we must find worth in every moment"

It defintely puts everything is perspective for me!:)

Moving won't fix things I'm afraid; most problems generally tend to follow you.
Only takes an hour-long session with a psych, to get started chatting out your issues/concerns; give it a try, could be a lot of help.
