Just picked this up yesterday in Harvey Norman. I've been looking online for a laser printer and this Samsung caught my eye. Harvey Norman is the cheapest place around (with Komplett being second @ €115). Only have it a day but am impressed with the results. There are also toner refill kits on ebay for about €50 which will get you 1500 black and 1000 colour pages.

    • Copy Speed (Color): Up to 4 ppm in A4 (4 ppm in Letter)

    • Up to 2400 x 600 dpi Effective Output Resolution
    • First Print out time(Color) Less than 26 sec (From Ready Mode)
    • Manual Duplex Print

I have the multifunction version of this and the cheapest I found a 4 set of toners was £120 when I had to buy replacements a few weeks ago.

To use refills you need to solder off a chip and solder a replacement onto it. Not a step I'm brave enough for yet.

But I love how sharp my text prints are :)

+1 on the toners. I bought the CLP-315 version and the company that supplies compatible cartridges advised me that it was cheaper to buy a new printer when the existing cartridges run out.

I'm in the market for a printer at the moment. Might pop in over the weekend if they have any left.

    Cheers OP
