Teeth Whitening

    Hi All,

I noticed a thread on teeth whitening here before which was shut down due to blatant advertising/nonsense being spouted. Would like to open up a new discussion.

I am thinking about getting my teeth whitened and am curious as to the various prices for these treatments in Dublin. I went to Molesworth clinic for other work on my teeth and they quoted me €200 for the whitening (including 6 weeks aftercare as I understand) and €250 for laser whitening.

One of the dentists there suggested I get both treatments (I must have very brown teeth!) while the other said that just regular whitening should do the trick.

Does anyone have any good advice on or better quotes for these treatments??

    Hi Peejesius...

I have never had it done, but my sister did two weeks before her wedding in a place on ***no names allowed***... DO NOT ATTEMPT to go there...

They damaged the nerves on her teeth with the laser, she was on morphine for the week leading up to the wedding as she was in awful pain.

And surprise, surprise, because she signed a disclaimer form, she had no come back. She has had to have root canal on one of the teeth since.

Just be careful! Do your research !

My advice would be, go to a proper clinic. You can't go wrong there!

    Good Luck :)
