    Hi All,

Can anyone recommend any nice boutiques in Cork City? My friends wedding is only around the corner and im starting to panic that i dont have anything to wear!

Im a size 16-18 and would like something a bit different to Coast and Monsoon.

    Thanks in advance!

What about those boutiques at the post office end of Oliver Plunkett St - Fran & Jane and Sheena's? I've only been in them a couple of times, when I was looking for a cocktail dress and they seem to have a lot of wedding-style stuff.

There are a lot of pretty dresses in loads of high street shops though at the moment, so I guess it depends what kind of dress you are looking for. I think Oasis and Zara, and even A-Wear have lovely stuff. (I know Zara's in Mahon, but it's not too far from Cork City!)

Oh, well MahonPoint is probably out then! All the major clothes shops are on Patrick St, or on Opera Lane, just off it. And the end of Oliver Plunkett St, as I mentioned.

There's also another place on the little street that goes down past the Body Shop on Patrick St (Carey's Lane I think!) called Amity, which has some cute and quirky stuff.

In Cork you can pretty much walk from one end of the shopping district to the other in 5-10 minutes so it's worth a look round!

Amity is probably worth a look alright but it's on French Church Street, down the side street by the Moderne on your way to Paul St Shopping Centre.

Right, but the shop goes through the block, so there are two entrances - one on French Church St, and one on Carey's Lane ;)
