    Hi,

If anyone has a steer on good small venues around the south side of Dublin city would appreciate it. Looking for something along the lines of the basements of Merchantile, Sweeneys, Shebeen Chic or like Crawdaddy.

Basically if there's anywhere less obvious that I might not have thought of, that goes late, would be suitable for live music at the weekend and has a reasonable house sound system.

    Cheers

I was in The Grand Social for the first time 2 weeks ago beside the halpenny bridge..It seems to be a good spot now and they have decent stage set up upstairs since transforming from Pravda.

I know its technically not south dublin but very central for putting on gigs.

    Good luck with the show
