I know Hertz have a location there, but is it possible to arrive outside of 9-5 and drop off a car? Computer says no :(

Looks like only Hertz in Holyhead. Says: Mo-Fr 0800-1700, Sa-Su closed.

Sail Rail an option for you? It's usually very good value.

you can arrange to leave the car with a local hotel (Hertz have a deal with them) .. . can't remember the name, but I did leave a car there last year during our lovely Ash cloud days!!!
