PSP games remastered in HD for PS3

    I think its a great thing there is so many great games on the PSP and i cant wait to play them in full HD

    I hope they bring out both God Of Wars in one box set because they where turely the games that pushed the psp to the limits and they will play very well on the ps3

    FF Crsis core will be a 2nd great game to play on the ps3 i remainder playing this all summer 3 years back when it came out it was just a great game i never killed the last boss because i got playing the side quests that where just so easy to pick up and play on the PS3

    Theres so much in the PSP back log that will look great on the PS3 but i think all the games will come out on PSN not on disc

    No trophies either for the PSP remastered games, so no buy for me. I never understood why Sony didn't add trophies to the PSP....

    They are different games to the PSP God of War games.

    @ MCGovern, I'd say he's on about the two PSP GoW games....

    I would love to see...

    I'm struggling here actually. Bar the two Gow games, and Monster Hunter, what else would suit the ps3? Maybe the pursuit force games? All my fave PSP games are stuff like Disgaea, FF tactics, Persona 3, Tactic ogre, all ports/remakes! I can't imagine Loco Roco or Patapon being worth a remaster, nor suiting the ps3.

    Ah wait, got it. Valkyria Chronicles 2 (probably won't happen), and Gradius Collection (won't happen)... Damn it!

    Thought Crisis Core was gash. It's good to see this happening and letting the games be played by a lot more people.

    What a strange stance to take - I can assure you that the lack of trophies does not take away from my enjoyment of Birth by Sleep, Peace Walker or Valkyria Chronicles 2 (what a year for the PSP).

    Its very disappointing that trophies put people off playing such great games.

    I agree it is a damn shame that some of the quality titles I listed above are not being recognised more widely perhaps (crazy considering theres alot more PSPs in the world than PS3s) but I really think that the games in question were perfectly fine the way they were and perfectly suited the PSP - I feel they'd need reasonable amounts of redesign for the PS3 (the shortness of some of Peace Walker's missions for example).

    The other thing is, you will seriously harm PSP software sales if people feel they can simply wait for the game to come out on PS3. I really hope, and its a point you have mentioned before, that the next gen handhelds (PSP in particular is guilty of this) focus more on games that work on handhelds rather than trying to port PS3 games which simply don't really work on the handheld for whatever reason.
