    Hi guys,

going for a swim tomorrow for the 1st time in years! Have 2 months to train for a triathlon! Yikes!

Anyway, looking at either the crc, deer park gym, or trinity sports and leisure.

I know Deer Park is only 17m, although I reckon it would be pretty quiet, plus you can stay for as long as you want (and then use the sauna!). does anyone know the size of the other ones? Do those pools have deep ends? Obviously I would prefer if they weren't too deep, as Im not overly confident in the water!

    Thanks

Trinity Sports & Leisure in Donaghmede is 25M long. Its deep end is 2M.

AFIK there are very few public sessions. The facilities are neglected and the water quality can vary wildly.

Does the sea have a deep end?;)

Most public swimming pools have standard depth and length (diving boards used to necessitated real deep ends!). Ring round and enquire about lane swim times.
