I dont have the G15 but i do have the G10 irons and absolutely love them. My handicap was 16 when i got them and its now down to 12 so the G series irons are perfect for the mid to high handicap range, easy to hit and very forgiving. I dont think you can go wrong with Ping clubs tbh.

I don't have a set but hit a friends set at the range, they are VERY easy to hit, the long irons are like hybrids, in fact all the irons are like hybrids with a huge sole on them, shovels as the yanks call them. I hit the 4 iron, 7 iron and 9, ball went long and high off the mats at the range, they are lofted quite strong, about a club stronger than the old lofts but real easy to get the ball airborne with a straight high flight. I would say they are very suited to high handicappers who want help, and a number of Pros have used these in US PGA events such as KJ Choi (he has since changed to Miura) who wasn't even a Ping-sponsored player, surprising that a Pro would use them as they are very big but it shows they could be used by anyone of any level. I found the heads far too big and clunky for me personally as I grew up using small unforgiving blades but I can tell you I was surprised and impressed at how easy they were to use, so much so that I considered getting Ping clubs for the first time as a result, I personally prefer the i15 than the G15 as they have smaller heads and are also forgiving.
They are primarily aimed at mid-high handicappers, but Pros have used them and Bubba Watson uses the G15 driver. The S56 are also a popular Ping iron, but if you don't mind the size of the G15 irons I think they are a good option.
