    Need a little help....
Laptop working fine, its an Acer Aspire 5736Z bought 6 months ago
Turned it on today and its saying 'No Bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key'
No backup software came with the laptop when I bought it, so I've downloaded it for Windows 7. Still same message appears. When I 'press any key' the pc start bleeping at me.
In the Boot setup menu, i also put CD at 1 in menu
    Any other suggestions?

Sounds like your hard drive may have packed in.

If you are not worried about data on it bring it back to where you got it from, They may refer you to Acer but it will be covered by Warranty.

If you do have data thats not backed up and important to you there may be steps to try to recover it first.

When the Acer bios screen is loading after you turn on the laptop - press F2 / Del or whatever button it asks to enter Setup using.

Have a look at the devices to see if the hard drive is showing up.
If unsure take a few pictures and upload them if possible.
