Setanta sports without Sky Subscription

    Hello Everyone :D

    I have sky subscription but its due to end in mid June but i was wondering if i can register to setanta sports before cancelling sky but keep the setanta sports only without any sky packages?

    Will setanta run as normal without sky packages ?

    Setanta is billed separately to Sky so it will work without a Sky subscription.

    Thanks for the answer so when i cancel the account with sky i can watch the free view channels on sky and the setanta sports :)

    Yes, so long as you are paying for Setanta Sports.

    you can get setanta for free as part of eircom broadband and e-mobile broadband

    No, via your PC only I think.

    I tried this and I thought the quality was pretty bad actually - I have a 3mb eircom connection so perhaps that's the issue.

    Yeah but that requires you to pay for an Eircom Broadband package. Not really free is it.
