Icon on iphone 3GS

    This icon has appeared on my iphone 3GS. It's beside the battery level icon. Anybody know what it is?

    It's the orientation lock.
    Double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar. Scroll left until you get to the ipod/play/pause icons. The leftmost icon is the orientation lock.
