Where should I cycle in South East?

    Hi All

Just moved home and I've picked up a dirty cycling habit in the UK - the thing is, now that I'm home I don't really know where to go!

Any particularly safe and interesting routes in SE? I'm Wex based? The thoughts of cycling on the dodgy roads around here doesn't inspire me...especially with nutters like my brother driving around!

    Thanks!

    Nic

Went around the ring of Hook on Saturday, taking in Tintern Abbey and Saltmillls. Not a long spin ~40k but fantastic scenery. Adding in Wellingtonbridge, Bannow bay and back brings it up to a nice 100k.

Another nice one is Enniscorthy, Bunclody, around Mt Leinster via the nine stones, Kiltealy and back. This has some good climbing and decent scenery. Personally, I prefer the Ballycarny side of the Slaney than the main road when going from Enniscorthy to Bunclody. A bit slower and a worse surface, but a pleasant minor road rather than a fight with traffic.
