Andy I'm using a Bushnell elite 3200 - 10x40 on my CZ varmint 22lr and find it will do all I want from it. Great target turrets on it as well. But it has a fixed parallax @100 but I can get it done to 50y easy.
Try airgunbbs.com in the optics sales section for some good bargans.

The son has a Bushnell banner 4-12x40 and finds it good as well.

I'm using Simmons WTC 6.5-20x50 on my lr. I'm actually appreciating it more and more as I use it more heavily... I would recommend it to others, especially at the price I paid.

I shot with a Bushnell buckhorn on the Ruger before the simmons- it was Dung. Then a S&B 6x42 but the ret was too think for long range headshots...

    Rifle now sold :(:(:(

But a custom Ruger 10/22 all paid for is on the way, and I should have it in a couple of weeks time. I just got a picatinny rail in the post from the US this morning for it @$15.

Member here did a group buy for the magazines from CZ direct @€;20 but they can be had for €30 in the dealers.

    Bushnell 3200 10x40 ;140 now

My Father just bought one of these to replace his Tasco (after nearly 20 years). Has 6-24 in mag, a 44mm objective lense, 0.25 click adjustments, and 25mm tube.

Its on his .22lr and gives the mag he needs for hunting, and higher mag for the occassional competition. Sean in Stakelums is selling for €160. They come with flip cap covers, and sunshade.

Not exactly top of the range in scope terms, but for a rimfire its perfect, clear enough out to 200+yds, and cheap.
