I have Fiat punto mk1 , '96, with 1.2 engine. Did good service on engine- new oil, filters, plugs, good quality and expensive spark plug leads, new alternator, new timebelt, temperature sensor, lambda sensor, vacuum pipes changed, fixed exhaust. Well... engine rough on idle revs (fine on driving, no problems on power), ... also bit thirsty on juice ... just thinking, might would put some injector cleaner on fuel ? Which would recommend ?

    thanks

STP Super concentrated fuel injector cleaner, I thought it was pretty good.I used it and thought it made a slight difference but that said, there was nothing wrong just thought I'd add it to complete the last service. Might be worth a look.

Perhaps something else You could look at cleaning would be your throttle body, cleaning it out on my golf with some carburettor/TB cleaner helped a bit too as it was filthy.

Thanks for advice. will look on to throttle body as well. Last time when i split inlet system, it wasn't bad, but any way, will take it off, and will clean.
