Need help with cateye velo wireless bike computer

    Hi all,
Very disappointed that my new cateye velo wireless bike computer, just arriced from Wiggle.co.uk, does not appear to be working. Clock is fine but nothing at all is registering on the other functions, which are just sitting at zero. I'm pretty sure I've done everything properly -sensor and magnet within 5mm, distance between computer and sensor correct... Just wondering if anyone could shed any light? Am I missing something really obvious?
    Thanks in advance.

I've set up a few of these cycle computers and unfortunately they do need a bit of messing around with the sensor to get it spot on. The most important part is to make sure you have the receiver (notch on top of the sensor) on the sensor aligned with the magnet. Apart from that, check the battery in the sensor unit as well to make sure it's working and make sure you have the right tyre size put into the computer.

as above, there should be an indicator on the rear of the fork unit to show where exactly the magnet should pass.

Sometimes it needs to be closer than the 5mm. It sounds like a issue with the sender, If its still not working with the magnet closer, try to see if there is a on switch on it, or if the battery is flat or fitted back to front, or if the sender is fitted the correct way around.
