ipod touch 3rd gen wont charge =(

    hi im wondering if anybody is familiar with this problem, it has suddenly stopped charging, tried it in ipod dock, from laptop and power socket and when plugged in the apple logo comes up then goes away after bout 10 secs, but wont charge at all what so ever, think theres an issue with the connection point on the bottom of the ipod but im no expert.

    can anybody even recommend a place in northside dublin that can repair it???
