    As the title asks.

Mine was last night, leaving America and had one last night with the lady friend I came to visit, took her out shooting, not romantic, the for a dinner in a nice restaurant, before going home and sharing a steaming hot bath with rainymood.com on along with some jazz and a video of a fire and some real candles burning. Then had some of the best sex of my life, so a put it to you ah what's your most romantic?

Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes on otouh and can't see what I am typing properly.

I did random things with her that cost alot of money until I found a sequence of expensive activities that led to us having brilliant sex and then I repeated that sequence of things on important occasions and she considers it a romantic sequence of things.

I've done a few, but probably the most sickening (in retrospect stupid as well) thing was getting leaving home one night around 10, driving 5 hours to cuddle my gf cos she was lonely and afraid and driving back again for work. She did appreciate it, but I didn't tell any of my friends about it. Felt like a tool tbh, but it made me a legend among her friends till I dumped her :D

A candle light meal for 2.:pac:

The candle was on the dashbosrd because the light wasn't working( which cracked the windscreen :o) The meal was a chinese take away, location was silver strand in Galway.

A romantic gesture is only sickening if she doesn't like it/turns to her mates and giggles/call the Gards. If she likes it, good move, go you.

Overcoming the technological barriers will be sickeningly romantic. I'll post back here to let you know how it works out.

I gave her half my Quarter pounder from abra when locked.

    HALF.

ladies please note.if a drunken Irishman gives you a few of his chips he's definitely into you.
if he relinquishes half a burger at 4am you can pretty much start writing the Wedding invitations there and then.

I wrote her a re-working of her favourite poems (some of Ted Hughes's Crow poems). We were sixteen and very much in love (to the extent that sixteen year olds can be - though never emo, thankfully). I was at an event last year, which she was also attending, and she came up to me and told me that was the most romantic thing anyone had ever done for her.

Which was cool, but it didn't get me very far! From the ages of 16 - 24 a lot of women only want to date guys who treat them like rubbish.

In fairness, men are capable of both doing romantic things and treating women like rubbish - an odd duality but it happens, believe me.

Ooooh 'real candles', you went all out.

Seriously (apart from the shooting!) the rest of it sounds like a pretty average date. Nice and all, but certainly not in any way 'sickeningly romantic'!

The most romantic thing i probably done was for a mate. His girlfriend was over in Canada doing some work course but couldn't afford to come home for Christmas. The fella was a wreck without her so i went behind his back and managed to find out the address of his missus and sent her an open round trip flight from Toronto to Dublin. He continually tries to pay me back with alcohol.

    Ah yes.

Nothing spells romance quite like a video of a fire.

OP, you have much to learn.

    Much.
