Life left in the Nexus S?

After years of the iphone, Im looking for a change and am eligible for a Vodafone upgrade . I know there a host of new android phones coming out such as the Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation but would prefer a phone with stock android to get the early updates. Nexus S seems to fit the bill but am worried that future upgrades such as ice-cream sandwich will require dual core processors for decent performance. Would any one here get a Nexus S over Galaxy S II/HTC Sensation or am I crazy :) .

Defo, wait it out and see what you think of the Galaxy S II, call into a shop and get a feel for the phone.

Google recently announced ( at IO 2011 ) that they recognise the need to provide upgrades to end users in a shorter time frame.
This can only be good for people tempted to stray from the Google branded devices.
Galaxy SII is the way to go at the minute.
