Here's an interesting Bugatti with an Irish history pity there's not any more up to date pics, I can only assume that it's in a right mess!

There were several Bugatti imported into Ireland when new including that one.
It was imported in '25 by Charles Manners.

Recently a Type 22 Brescia turned up in England wearing YI2262.
Registered by James Kelly on Camden Street in 1923 although the car was produced in 1922. Its nice that it still retains its Irish number.

A friend of mine (who has a few pre-war racing cars) viewed this recently. Unfortunatly, not a lot of 'Bugatti' remains. Quite a number of cars in the early days were 'modified' into racing specials. A Bugatti with a Ford engine, is worth considerably less than a Ford with Bugatti engine.

It's a long way off from what they produce today
