Reckon 2-0 United don't think Blackpool will break the United Defense.

    Why play vidic, why?

If Charlie Adam repeats his Gareth Bale breakup trick I will be p!ssed off. Lucky he is not that type of player.

    Especially Vidic.

I suppose he rested the whole team before the final in '09 and probably regretted it. He mentioned in an interview last week that we wants to keep all the players ticking over.

I'm not that surprised at the line-up for United. Ferguson indicated during the week that he wanted to play a lot of first team players in order to keep them sharp in the run up to the Barcelona game.

To paraphrase Vinny Jones - with VDS & possibly Scholes playing their last ever Premier League games for the club - it's gonna be emotional.

Evra I can kind of understand. When was his last game ? Few weeks ago at this stage. Could do with 60/70 min. The other 2 is madness.

Fully expect Vidic to be whipped off at half time.

I just rather take the chance on any of the 1st team tbh, why risk crucial players at this stage

    madness imo

He's not the type of player to do it on purpose but he's exactly the type to go in full blooded and rashly into tackles.

I'd say Gibson, Smalling and Owen will come on for Scholes, Vidic and Park.

Definately think VDS will get taken off to get the standing ovation he so richly deserves...
Scholes will get the same too,am assuming he is retiring!!

He's not, said yesterday he would stick around another year :D

No PIG on the bench. Will he make the squad for the CL final or will Lindegaard take his place again?

No he didn't, Ferguson said that he is hopeful that Schloes will stay on. Scholes hasn't opened his mouth as usual.

Come on Berba, lets see u pick up the boot!

This game has the look of goals goals goals . .

As a united fan I have mixed feelings. I dont want our home record to be blemished, but I want Blackpool to stay up.

I think Blackpool have been a superb addition to the EPL and are a better team (for neutrals) then any of the potential other teams that might go down . .

Guard of honour? What a load of sh1te.

I'm not liking park and evra playing. Too risky imo.

Because they have a huge game to play. They have something to play for here. A guard of honour when entering the pitch is the biggest load of sh1te. Completely agree with the end of the game, but not at the beginning.

    Why, whats wrong with that?

Pretty fitting considering Utd have won the title that makes them the most succesfull club in the history of the English top flight league.

Think Utd did it for Chelsea few years back and they did the same for Utd a year or so later. Just a bit of respect for the best team in the league this season I guess.

Yes, and I completely agree with that as neither team had anything to play for in those games. I just think with Blackpool having something to play for it's not what they should have done.

when Blackpool could be relegated and the players will be in bits  clearly better at the start.
