    Who would win ?

I think Perez would win because he has devastating power with the ability to knock people out quickly. He can mix up the power with the boxing skills , He is a world champion amateur boxer.

Who would win if they fought ? 12 votes

    David Haye.

World champ vs untested heavyweight = no contest

I don't think Haye is as good a fighter as he is promoted to be. I think he lost the fight to Nikolay Valuev

It was embarsasing when he fought Audley Harrison . I think there would be a good chance that Perez would knock him out in the first round, like he does most people....if he had the complete self belief ?

I don't think Haye is as good as many believe either, I think Wlad will beat him and Adamek/Helenius/Peter would either beat him or go very close. He is certainly not the best heavy outside of K2.

That said, he clearly beat Valuev. I watched it twice and the second time around scored it 117-111 to Haye. Valuev was putting on all the pressure but to win fights you have to land punches, and Haye did that, unlike Valuev.

Haye would beat Perez easily at this point. He would potshot him like he did against Valuev and stop him when he tires. Perez doesn't have enough experience at this point, but is definitely one to watch.

If Helenius beats Rogan in June, which he should, I reckon they should feed Rogan to Perez.

Haye definitely isn't as good as the Sky lads suggest but it is actually ridiculous to suggest Perez would beat him at the minute. If it did happen it would be one of the most significant upsets in recent time.

Ah stop=David Haye is a hyped up nobody- give me a break. Perez is an up and coming contender but at least he has potential. Haye wouldnt beat Holyfield imo. He keeps looking for fights agaiinst the other hype jobs. Why didnt he want Vlad?

Not at all Holyfield is a washout but at one time he had to fight for it- haye arrived in a division that was bereft of talent - bar Vlad. He never had to grind a win against a decent heavyweight - the division is a joke & Haye gets more credit than he merits

True and he is over-hyped but he is still talented to an extent.

Do you actually believe Holyfield would beat Haye?

I beleive substance over bullsh&t - do you think a prime Haye would beat a Prime Holyfield? Do you think an old timer hungry enough has no chance? Foreman didnt come in on the wind

that's not a hard and fast rule. haye anyway is untested at heavyweight. besides, if i'm not mistaken perez has had more heavyweight fights then haye. but it still doesn't matter, many contenders would blow out "champs" if given the chance.

I'm not sure who would win if both were in their primes but to suggest that Haye wouldn't beat Holyfield at the moment is delusional. I presume that by dodging the question you can probably realise that Holyfield would not have a hope of beating Haye.

Reckon He'd have a punchers chance anyway & he would put on a better show than Harrison(another hyped up waster)
