Can i get help with rent in the uk from here?

    I'll be in full time education for a year and i have a place to stay starting from august and i wanted to know where do i go to get help with funding to help me pay my rent?

    The only help you might get from here is the maintenance grant but the course has to be an undergraduate one and a minimum of two years long. Is it a progression year you're doing on top of an Irish degree or a one year stand alone course?

    Its a foundation course but it's 5,000 to do and i thought i maybe would be able to get help with rent or something

    You wouldn't qualify under the maintenance grant system. Have you tried asking the college about bursaries/scholarships etc?
