Cambodian visa can certainly be attained at the airport if flying in, if not you'll get it easily in BKK, either through an agency or attending the embassy in person.

Vietnam visa requires you to send your passport to their London embassy but again perhaps it's possible to sort in BKK?

you can get both Cambodian and Laos visas on the border.

There are several different ways to get a Vietnam visa. One is to send it to London, other is a visa on arrival and lastly is getting it in Asia.
I would recommend the last one, I got my visa in Laos and it took one day and cost 55 dollars it was easy. Im not too sure how the visa on arrival works but you have to apply for it before you get to Vietnam and I think you have to give set days so its not very flexible and you have to fly into certain airports for it to be valid.

If you go from Cambodia into Laos over the border near the 4000 islands (along the Mekong river) you will need to get your visa in Phnom Penh in advance. We made the mistake of almost going the whole way to the border wthout realising! Worth it though, as the 4000 islands were the highlight of the whole SE Asia trip.
