Quick question. I had my permit for over 6 months before the new rules in April kicked in. Do I have to buy and drive for 12 hours to be eligible for the actual test?

Thanks a lot for fast replies. My wallet wouldn't survive 12 lessons.

If you wouldn't have been able to afford the lessons, how would you be able to run a car?

Running a car + twelve lessons would cost more than running a car without also paying for twelve lessons.
