    Hey folks,

Anyone seen these knocking around recently? I used to be able to get them but haven't seen them in a while. I'm in Dublin. Thanks.:)

Most of the bigger ones should have them, get them in Maynooth myself! Stay away from Vegebacon though:(

I only know Phibsboro and Finglas definitely have them, Jervis St probably have them too, the veggie range in tescos Parnell St is practically nil now unfortunately so much so that their 'vegetarian' sign now just says 'vegetables' with a few quorns fillets thrown in beside some microwave chicken curry meals :pac:

ha ha - yes. I know that feeling. I may venture north so and pick up a stock of these for the freezer. You're a star, thank you. ;)

I've tried tesco, dunnes, superquinn and supervalu for these but they seem to have disappeared in the last few weeks.

Has anyone actually seen them in Dublin in the last few days?

I was in my local Tesco this evening, and they seem to have gone missing alright. Though they've brought in quorn peppered steaks and fake ham and chicken. I noticed they've the fishless finger things, and pies as well. Good to see their own version of tikka masala and I think it was lasagne they had too. Their veggie stock use to be dire, so I'm glad to see they've made some changes.

It's true they have a poor range but they had the rashers in last week. I don't like them myself as I find them greasy, I far prefer Vege-Bacon from Health Store etc.

I'm loving the ham and chicken sandwich slices at the moment, so hard to get but they're yum and there's loads in Tesco at the mo'!

The Cork town branch of Tesco's used to always sell them, but they've been missing the past few month. Gutted! They were lovely with a bit of toast and Lady Grey.

They have the smokey ham version of them in my local tesco, only tried them recently. Have to say they initial taste is nice enough, but theres an after twang I dont likes. They're considerably cheaper than the chicken ones though, which I prefer. 4 squids for a couple of slices is a bit sharp. I tried out their pepper steaks today for the first time, nice enough - teeeeny bit to spicey for my liking, but I'd get them again though.

I wouldn't have bought the rashers all the time, but it was nice to have the option =/

Loads of Quorn rashers in Superquinn Ranelagh. Loads.

seems there are a load of quorn things like the sandwich slices in Dublin that I have not seen here in Limerick. Not a fan of the rashers but they are in limerick ok. The peppered steaks can be hard to get too and I love them. I cant get them at the tescos near me have to go across town

Are the actually nice? I had avoided them because I'd expected they'd be some odd toxic tasting highly synthetic tasting concoction.

I don't like the Quorn ones at all but I am partial to the Vege Bacon ones.

I think they're lovely, don't taste too synthetic to me.
