    Motherwell v Celtic
    Saturday 21 May 2011, kick-off 3pm
    Hampden Park, Glasgow

Cant wait, hope we finish the season on a high and Lenny gets the silverware his hard work has deserved. Good to see Stokes is back in contention after some sort of fall out before the last game.

Hopefully some team news to follow soon

Lasley fairly lucky there he didnt get red. if he caught his leg there he could have broken it.

Celtic fans singing "Boys of the Old Brigade" there. Whilst it's one of my favourite songs and there's often a drunk rendition sang, does it really help matters?

Could have snapped his leg if he connected.

I don't have a problem with it myself, but it's not exactly the smartest time to be singing Ra songs.

Last I'm saying on it, because I can feel it turning into a big auld debate as usual.

Motherwell's tactics leave a lot to be desired.

Hopefully it is, same goes for Majstorovic.

all slide tackles have to be perfectly timed, no pulling out on that surface.

    Disgraceful decision - Dubberesque even.

Only thing I will say in Calum Murray's favour is that looking straight on it is hard to see if he touched it. Linesman should have seen the deviation clearly

delighted for Lennon with all the troubles he has had this year that he has won some silverware.
    C'mon Celtic

From what I can see, winning the Scottish Cup means we're in the last qualifying round for the Europa League now, rather than going into the 3rd round based on league positions:
    http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/access2011.html

One less qualification round to negotiate is always a good thing!

    Congratulations Celtic deserved win today.

So the curtain comes down on another season to be honest one I am glad to see the back of.
I look forward to next season and resuming discussions on here with the decent Tic fans
I hope the idiot that sends abusive PM's doesn't come back though ( Oh it wasn't me that was getting them )

    THERE'S ONLY ONE NEILL LENNON

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,328 ✭✭✭dartbhoy

A well deserved victory for Celtic, delighted for Lennon after the year he's had. Also good to hear Dermot Desmond saying they want Lennon at the club long term.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,369 ✭✭✭henke

Great to see us winning trophies again. Lennon deserves it. The change in the team from the Mowbray era is quite phenomenal really. Here's hoping Lennon has just collected trophy number one of many:).
