So many tragedies and accidents seem to befall wrestlers in particular.

    RIP Mickey Rourke.

Jeez I used to watch this guy when I was a kid. Died in a car accident aged 58
    RIP

Who used to spend their Saturday mornings watching the wrestling?

Why does he throw 1970's Van Morrisson outta the ring in that clip?

Was gutted when I heard this today. I grew up on Macho Man, Hogan and Warrior. 58 is old by wrestling standards, but young by any other.

Certainly, Giant Haystacks was a star when I was a lad. The whole drug fueled WWF farce passed me by wasn't it/isn't it only on SKY?

    RIP :(

    So many memories.

Himself, Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior - back when wrestling was good.

Rip macho man Randy savage, the frenzy you used to send me and my brothers into was partially the reason for wrestling being banned from my telly.

    legend

Also watching some of the clips, for all its fakeness you'd want to be fairly fit to throw yourself around like that for ten minutes

When I think of the 90's this image is always one that springs to mind.

Man, he was the basic voice of any wrestler. When anybody tried imitating a wrestler from WWF (back in the day) they always talked like him.

Another notch of my childhood stubbed out.

I remember seeing him in X-Men, he was fúcking massive, he actually looked like he'd doubled in size, all muscle!!

    Such a shame though.

I'm reminded of Andrew Martin aka "Test". He was only 33 when he died, I'm not sure what it is that befalls these wrestlers but they seem to have significantly short lives or they wind up crazy like Chris Benoit.

I wonder will the WWE induct him into the hall of fame next year? It should have happened while he was alive.

    RIP Macho Man!

Doubt it. The difference between a lightbulb and Vince McMahons daughter was that Macho man could unscrew a lightbulb.
